Hidden Valley is the area around Hidden Valley Country Club, at 11820 S Highland Drive in southeast Sandy (ZIP 84092). When the club bought the land in the 1950s it was considered Draper; today it’s Sandy. Dimple Dell Regional Park is nearby to the north.
- The club: its roots go back to the Fort Douglas Club (1928). The first 18 holes, designed by William F. Bell, opened in the late 1950s, and a third nine by William H. Neff in 1979 made it 27 holes. Rees Jones has been renovating the course since 2015, a short course was added in 2021, and a pool came in 2016.
- Outdoors: Dimple Dell Regional Park’s trails and quick access to Little Cottonwood Canyon.
- Schools: Canyons School District; check boundaries by address.
