About the Country Club area
The neighborhoods around the Country Club of Salt Lake, often just called The Country Club, sit near the mouth of Parleys Canyon, just south of I-80 near the I-80/I-215 interchange. The club, at 2400 E Country Club Drive, is in Salt Lake City, with Millcreek starting just to the south and Sugar House nearby. You’ll hear the area called The Country Club or Country Club Heights.
- The club: incorporated in 1899 and on its current site since 1921, with an 18-hole, par-72 course restored by John Harbottle in 2006–07. It’s the home course of University of Utah golf.
- Nearby: Sugar House Park, Parleys Historic Nature Park, and the shops and restaurants of Sugar House.
- Access: right next to I-80 and I-215, for quick trips downtown, to the airport, and up Parleys Canyon toward Park City.

Mostly single-family homes on mature, tree-lined streets, from brick ramblers to larger custom homes, some with golf course or mountain views.
What buyers and sellers should know
City lines matter here: some homes are in Salt Lake City and others in Millcreek, which can mean a different school district (Salt Lake City or Granite) and different services, so check by address.
