About Deer Crest
Deer Crest covers roughly 600 acres along the eastern edge of Deer Valley Resort, running from the Snow Park base area east toward the Jordanelle Reservoir and US-40. It has two gated entrances: one near Snow Park, less than two miles from Main Street, and one on the Jordanelle side off US-40. Most addresses read Park City, but much of Deer Crest Estates sits in Wasatch County.
- Skiing: many Deer Crest Estates homes ski in and out on private runs that connect to Deer Valley’s Mountaineer Express and the Jordanelle Express Gondola. Some neighborhoods, like Snow Top and Hidden Hollow, don’t have direct ski access.
- The St. Regis: the St. Regis Deer Valley, with its spa and restaurants, is reached from Snow Park by a short funicular.
- Deer Crest Club: an optional club at the St. Regis offers ski valet, lockers and lounges to eligible owners.
Homes in Deer Crest
Deer Crest Estates is custom homes and homesites, many with mountain and reservoir views, and Snow Top and Hidden Hollow add more estate homes. Deer Crest Village and Deer Pointe offer townhomes, Founders Place and The Havens offer condos, and the St. Regis residences come with hotel services. In late 2024, a Deer Crest home sale was reported as a Utah record.
What buyers and sellers should know
There’s a master HOA, and many enclaves inside Deer Crest add a sub-association with its own dues. Ski access varies by home, so confirm exactly which run serves a property. Nightly rental rules depend on the sub-association and on whether the home is under Park City or Wasatch County rules, so check the CC&Rs and licensing for each property.
