Where Olympus Cove is
Olympus Cove, also called Mount Olympus, is a neighborhood on the northwestern slopes of Mount Olympus, east of I-215, at roughly 5,100 feet. It was counted as its own census-designated place until 2010 and has been part of the city of Millcreek since Millcreek incorporated in 2016. Many homes still carry a Salt Lake City mailing address, with 84109 and 84124 ZIP codes.

Homes in Olympus Cove
Many homes date from the 1950s through the 1970s: ramblers and split-levels on generous lots, a lot of them fully remodeled. Higher on the hill you’ll also find newer custom homes with big glass fronts aimed at the valley. Two houses a block apart can differ by hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on the view, the lot’s size and slope, and how much has been updated, which is why a home-specific pricing analysis beats an online estimate here.

What to know about Olympus Cove
- Views change value street by street. A clear valley or mountain view, and how private the lot is, often matter more than square footage.
- Older homes, so inspections matter. With many homes 50 or more years old, roof, sewer line and electrical findings often shape the negotiation.
- Schools. Granite School District. Oakridge Elementary (4325 Jupiter Dr), Churchill Junior High (3450 E Oakview Dr) and Skyline High (3251 E 3760 S) serve much of Olympus Cove; confirm boundaries for a specific address with the district.
- It’s Millcreek. Even with a Salt Lake City mailing address, property taxes, permits and city services come from Millcreek.
